School Supply List 2019-2020
The following is a list of the items each student should purchase for school:

Please purchase these items by Monday, August 19th. Items marked with a * become classroom materials and will be used communally. Good places to buy these items are: Office Depot, OfficeMax, Staples, or Target.

The California Constitution mandates that public education be provided to students free of charge, unless a charge is specifically authorized by law for a particular program or activity. This constitutional right of free access encompasses all educational activities, whether curricular or extracurricular, and regardless of whether credit is awarded for the educational activity. Asking parents or guardians to sign a waiver, for an otherwise mandatory fee, charge or deposit, does not render it constitutionally permissible.

- A donation check for $140, payable to 'Stevens Creek School'. This donation will cover this year's 4 field trips, the school planner, Newsela, and a subscription for each
- one plastic green, red and any other color folder with pockets (total 3)
- one single subject graph paper notebook 4 x 4 Quad, 10.5 x 8
- one transparent plastic ruler (please write student's initials with a sharpie on the ruler)
- one pencil pouch (a Ziploc bag is fine)
- Two black sharpies
- colored pencils (about 12 colors; please sharpen at home)
- A box of Crayola crayons
- 5 inch long kid scissors
- A plastic protractor (for doing their homework)
- 2 packets of glue sticks*
- one box of tissue*

- one box of Green Works sanitizing wipes*
- air freshener*
- washable markers*
- one box of gallon size ziplocs*
